Update (Feb 27, 2026): Simon Willison pointed out that WASM support for interpreted languages is further along than I what I thought. wasm32-unknown-wasip1 is a Tier 2 supported target for CPython (meaning failures block releases), with unofficial WASI builds available. Pyodide ports CPython to WASM via Emscripten with support for packages like NumPy, pandas, and SciPy. On the JavaScript side, QuickJS compiled to WASM works well for sandboxed JS execution. Wasmer can run Python server-side on WASM including native modules like gevent and SQLAlchemy. I haven’t tried these yet, but I am looking forward to .
The endlessly looping animation, first uploaded by Narpy on YouTube in 2019 and often set to the upbeat Accumula Town theme from Pokémon Black and White, became a symbol of quiet perseverance. Furret just keeps going. No destination. No urgency. Just vibes. It's wholesome, hypnotic, and weirdly existential, which makes it perfect internet art.

Before today, US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth had threatened to label Anthropic a “supply chain risk” if it did not agree to withdraw safeguards that insist Claude not be used for mass surveillance against Americans or in fully autonomous weapons. In a post on X published after President Trump’s statement, Hegseth said he was “directing the Department of War to designate Anthropic a Supply-Chain Risk to National Security. Effective immediately, no contractor, supplier, or partner that does business with the United States military may conduct any commercial activity with Anthropic.”
